AttoSense is developing two additional systems: InSense
and AirSense. The systems enable monitoring of large buildings and
campuses consisting of hundreds of antennas. Moreover, both systems provide the
ability to monitor only part of a building or a specific location on any floor
of the building.
InSense
The purpose of the InSense system is
to monitor a Distributed Antenna System (DAS) inside buildings for
Cellular or Wireless LAN networks. The DAS system consists of several antennas
deployed on each floor in the building.
The system is built from a multi-sensor system
collocated near each monitored antenna. Each sensor communicates with the
coordinator element located in the Cellular Probe Module (CPM) unit. The CPM
collects the information from all sensors. The CPM sends the information from
all the sensors to the EMS software, via the
cellular network, for display and alarm detection.

AirSense
The purpose and functionality of AirSense are similar to InSense,
with the main difference being the method of transferring signals within
the monitoring network.

InSense
|
AirSense
|
- Transfers the monitoring signals through the DAS system
- Saves the radio communication link between the sensors
|
- Transfers the monitoring signals using a wireless network between the sensors
- Is totally separate from the DAS infrastructure
